PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
As of August 18, 2011 Yellowstone County has once again been placed under Rabies Quarantine.
A skunk removed from the Billings Heights was submitted for testing and tested positive for Rabies. As a result the State Veterinarian has placed YellowstoneCounty under quarantine and subject to the attached restrictions.
Please check you pet’s vaccination history and be sure that you pets are currently vaccinated for Rabies. Fall is a very active time for our Wildlife friends be sure you pet’s are protected if their paths should cross.
